Preventative Maintenance

 

Cleaning

Equipment and components will be thoroughly cleaned to prevent dirt and debris from obstructing moving parts and causing premature wear.

 

Lubricating

Lubricants are used to separate moving parts. This has the benefit of reducing friction and surface fatigue, with reduced heat generation, operating noise and vibrations.

 

Adjusting

Equipment that is improperly adjusted can cause premature wear and hazards. All necessary components are adjusted properly to make sure equipment works smoothly and consistently.

 

Inspecting

Inspections determine if the equipment/components are operating properly and conforms to the specified requirements. Technicians are trained to bring small problems to your attention before they become big issues.

 

Documentation

Service reports will show service work that has been completed and to indicate areas of problems.

Equipment Training

 

Training is the primary means of keeping your employees safe in a loading dock environment. There are many mechanical devices that if used and installed properly, can help reduce potential hazards in these areas.

Fire Door Drop Testing (FDDT)

 

We will perform a thorough inspection and trial drop of the door.  You will not need to worry about compliance.  FDDT includes:

 

 - A written Fire Door Inspection and Drop Test Report, which document each FDDT service call for your facility’s records along with recommendations for any needed repairs or product replacement. 

 

 - A “Fire Door Certification” tag is attached to each tested fire door indicating the date the door was inspected, tested and certified.

 

- Copies of your facilities Fire Door Inspection and Drop Test Results are kept in our company’s records in case of an emergency or any compliance questions.

 

 

Hangar Doors

 

Our Preventative maintenance programs are not only limited to your standard rolling steel, high speed doors etc.  We also extend our maintenance program to various types and hangar doors systems.
